Choosing the Right Preschool
Choosing your child's preschool is one of the most important decisions your family will make. At Caterpillar College, we want every family to feel confident that they've found the right place for their child. The best way to experience our school is to visit while classes are in session, meet our teachers, and see the excitement of learning firsthand.
We also invite every prospective family to schedule a personal meeting with our director to learn more about our programs and discover how Caterpillar College can help your child thrive.
Personal Tour & Director Meeting
Every new family is encouraged to schedule a tour and meet with the preschool director. During this one-hour visit, we'll answer your questions, discuss your child's individual needs, and introduce you to our programs, philosophy, and campus. It's the perfect opportunity to see what makes Caterpillar College so special.
Registration
Registration for the upcoming school year begins each January. A one-time, non-refundable registration and supply fee reserves your child's place in the program. Enrollment is accepted throughout the year as space permits.
Enrollment Requirements
Children enrolling in our preschool program must:
-
Be 3 years old by September 1
-
Working on toilet training
We look forward to welcoming your family to the Caterpillar College community!
Wisconsin’s Get Kids Ready Program (Not income-based)
Families enrolled at Caterpillar College may qualify to receive a reduction in tuition through Wisconsin's Get Kids Ready program. Funds received by Caterpillar College on your child's behalf are applied directly to your tuition account.
Eligibility
Your child may qualify if:
-
They are 4 years old on or before September 1 of the school year they will attend.
-
They are enrolled full-time or at least three full days per week.
-
You submit a completed Get Kids Ready application to Caterpillar College.
-
Your application is approved by Caterpillar College.
Because funding is limited, available spaces are awarded on a first-priority basis to full-time students, followed by students attending the greatest number of days each week.
Participation in the program is completely optional.
How the Program Works
-
Tuition for September is paid according to your regular invoice.
-
Wisconsin issues payments directly to Caterpillar College four times each school year, beginning with the first payment at the end of September.
-
As each payment is received, the funds are credited to your tuition account.
-
Additional state payments are typically received at the end of November, February, and May, with credits applied to your account after each payment.
-
Families remain responsible for any tuition balance until state funding has been received and applied.
Important Information
The amount Caterpillar College receives for each eligible child is determined by the State of Wisconsin and may vary based on statewide participation and available program funding. Because funding is capped, the total credit applied to your account cannot be guaranteed in advance.
If you have questions about the Get Kids Ready program or would like to apply, we're happy to help guide you through the process.
